Case Study: St Regis Residences & Resort Longboat Key
Task:
Deliver a comprehensive marketing package, including high-end 3D visualizations of both exterior and interior spaces.
Challenge:
The project featured a man-made tropical fish lagoon, which needed to be depicted with high realism, including specific fish species and plants. Additionally, the design included a series of pools and waterfalls. For the residences, all furniture had to reflect custom designs with unique fabrics, artwork, and accessories as specified by the interior designers.
Solution:
We worked closely with architects, the marketing team, engineers, and interior designers to create a detailed design package that captured every element of the project.
Impact:
The photorealistic renderings allowed the client to feature the visuals on their website, publish ads in local and national magazines, and run a successful marketing campaign prior to the grand opening. The images continue to be used on the reservation page, complementing the photography.
Our architects and interior design team worked closely with the client from start to finish.
During our initial consultation, it became clear that the client, being primarily marketing and sales professionals, needed our technical expertise to manage the architectural and interior design documents. They had a complete design package, including construction specifications, but required photorealistic imagery that would accurately reflect the final built spaces. Some areas were already constructed and needed to be represented exactly as they appeared in reality.
We invested significant time coordinating with the construction teams, architects, and engineers to understand every detail, ensuring that every element was perfectly represented. Even small details, like the correct portrayal of bed sheets and pillowcases, were crucial to the project’s success.
Additionally, we worked within a tight deadline, making the process both efficient and detail-oriented to meet the client's expectations.
